Álvaro Alcalde

Born in 1999 in Alicante (Spain), he studied Biology at the University of Alicante (2017-2021) and then moved to Barcelona to pursue his master in Genetics and Genomics at the University of Barcelona. He joined the group in January 2022 to perform his master thesis. Since then, he's been in the group as a PhD wet lab researcher thanks to the support of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

Álvaro enjoys books, cinema, and all kinds of board games.
