
Lucía Fanlo
Postdoctoral Researcher
Lucía studied Biology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2011) and pursued a MSc in Biomedical Research at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2012). Then, she performed her doctoral studies at the crossroads between cancer biology, genomics and developmental biology under the supervision of Dr. Elisa Martí and Dr. Gwenvael LeDréau (IBMB-CSIC). Since September 2020, Lucía has been a postdoc at Javierre’s lab (IJC), mainly focussed in genomics and epigenomics during B cell differentiation using human samples and mouse genetics. In addition, since September 2023 she is a lecturer at Universitat de Girona, where she teaches different practical courses in genetics for undergraduate students.
Lucía loves spending time with her kids, hiking and a good conversation.
