Raúl de Haro

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Raúl began his career as a lab technician, gaining 3 years of professional experience at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. Building on this foundation, he studied a degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Barcelona (2018–2022), followed by a MSc in Bioinformatics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2022–2023). During his master’s studies, Raúl joined the Javierre Lab to complete his thesis. Inspired by this experience, he has decided to continue his journey in the lab as a computational PhD student.

Outside of science, Raúl enjoys playing and following all kinds of sports, experimenting in the kitchen, and discovering new beers from around the world.
